| Buster, one of eight males, was from Rodie’s second litter. His mom, Casey, was trained by and trialed with Jake, a young boy in his early teens. They always did great together, and Jake eventually kept Buster’s littermate, Irish. My husband Rich, got pick of Buster’s litter, and he chose the last pup born. Rich named him Rodeo’s Bronco Buster, to stay with the rodeo theme. Buster has a red tri son named Buckaroo, a red merle son, named Ragin Rodeo, and a red tri daughter, named Broncin’ Brio to carry on the rodeo tradition! |

I started training Buster when he was 4 years old. Rich had taught him all the agility obstacles when he was a younger dog, and he remembered!!!! After only a month of lessons, we entered trials and did awesome. |
Buster has this natural distance that my other Aussies do not have. He loves to work away from me and earned his ASCA novice gamblers and novice jumpers titles in his first two shows.
Like Rodie, he does great in AKC, both follow my body very well, and I do not need to give many commands. Buster earned his novice and open jumpers titles, and his novice standard title with perfect scores, no refusals!Buster is an easy dog to train, trial, and live with. He’s a clown and loves to play, and has enough toy/ball drive to pass on to all his kids! Like both his parents, he always has a toy, frisbee, or ball in his mouth!
Buster is one of Rodeo’s more serious sons, especially when working. He’s very consistent and learns things quickly. He really likes to please, and does not like to make mistakes. |
 |
Once, in a trial Buster blew the A-frame contact. I then heeled him off the course. We tried it again the next time, and he did his contacts very nicely. He corrects himself and is never hard headed.
Buster is outgoing and friendly to everyone and gets along great with other dogs, including other boys. He’s a smaller, compact, very athletic male who will continue to compete into his older years, just like his sire.

Buster helps with the cattle, putting them in the shoot, when Rich practices his calf roping. He also helps move the bull, cows and calves to their different pens. Bust has learned to follow all Rich’s commands from horseback, and once again that natural distance comes in handy! |
| Buster earned ASCA Merit Dog #7 Open Standard, in the top 20 for 2006.Because of his outstanding offspring, he has achieved the USASA ROM-P II Sire title.I am very lucky to have Buster as my agility partner and enjoy all our time spent together!!!!!!!!!He’s my red boy!
On April 9, 2010, 3 weeks shy of his 10th birthday, Buster passed away. Due to bloodloss from probable hemangiosarcoma, I had to let my boy go free from the pain…
Buster was always a BONUS, and I treasure every day we spent together. I hold tight to the memories to fill this heartbreaking hole in my heart. Until we meet again Mr. B., run fast and clean, and wait for me, I’ll bring your big pink jolly ball! |
